A global perspective on sustainability
A genuine just transition in Scotland can only be achieved by considering the impact of decisions and actions we take here on people in other countries, and future generations. The session will talk about a global approach to sustainability, considering power shifts, decolonisation and ethical communications. Scotland’s International Development Alliance has recently published a paper on the upcoming Wellbeing & Sustainable Development (Scotland) Bill which includes proposed definitions of sustainable development which will be shared in this session.
